About Us

In 1964,

Brothers, Kenny and Terry Blackmore, started using their personal equipment to do custom grading projects around the Temecula Valley. What began as building roads for ranchers, farmers and developers eventually turned into larger land-clearing and site preparation. The business started taking off in the 1970’s with the growth of California’s avocado industry. By the early 1970’s, the brothers had formed a grading operation called Blackmore Co. located in Temecula.
Blackmore Co. has moved the earth on projects like the first Industrial Park in Temecula Valley, the original Tower Plaza, the Stater Bros. Center, and in areas like Bear Creek, La Cresta, and Alta Murrieta. Blackmore’s equipment is seen around Temecula and surrounding areas to this day.

Since then we have grown to cover a much larger area, and now our equipment moves dirt on projects in San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties. Helping build communities all over Southern California!

Today our primary focus is growing our fleet and keeping up with the ever-changing technology. All while providing our customers with the excellent customer service and expertise they’ve grown to love.
